The Papua New Guinean Discovery

Between June 2, 2005 and August 7, 2005 I went to Papua New Guinea with Wycliffe Bible Translators. It was a time when God confirmed that He wants me there for His work. At the time I am a student at Davis College in New York State studying and preparing to go back to PNG full time.

View of Folopa from the air

This is a view of the Folopa village from the Cessna. It is a little blurry due to the fact that this is a still from the video of the landing. The village is less than 1/8 of a mile across at most points. The brown the path of the village and the dark long points are the houses of the village. There are valleys on either side of the vile that drop off about 50 feet and then drop off another 50 feet after that. The time in the village was great. In Part 3 of 4 you will hear more about my time in Folopa.  Posted by Picasa
