The Papua New Guinean Discovery

Between June 2, 2005 and August 7, 2005 I went to Papua New Guinea with Wycliffe Bible Translators. It was a time when God confirmed that He wants me there for His work. At the time I am a student at Davis College in New York State studying and preparing to go back to PNG full time.

Leaving for the Folopa TODAY

Dear Friends, Relatives, and Supporters,
Today Brendon, Sara, Courtney, and I head off with Neil Anderson to the Folopa people.  We had a get together with him two nights ago.  He is a great Storyteller and makes the best pizza!  We will be working with Isaiah 53 and getting to know the Folopa and their culture.  We will be leaving sometime around 6:30 AM to head to the airfield.  We have a narrow window to get into the Folopa.  Keep the Discovery Group in prayer as most have had a stomach flu, thankfully I have not had it yet.  God knows best.  Yesterday my mother called up and said hi.  I met Pastor Zumbek who helped Grace Fabian during the translation of the Nabak NT.  I saw the house where Grace and Edmund lived in worked on the NT.  Got some great stories from Pastor Zumbek.  Well thank you for all the prayers.  I will not be sending emails that I know of until the 22 or later.  If I do that will be a suprise for me.  God Bless.

In Christ's love,
Corey
