The Papua New Guinean Discovery

Between June 2, 2005 and August 7, 2005 I went to Papua New Guinea with Wycliffe Bible Translators. It was a time when God confirmed that He wants me there for His work. At the time I am a student at Davis College in New York State studying and preparing to go back to PNG full time.

Last email directly from me. Less than 24 hours left!

Dear Friends, Family, and Supports,

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ the Messiah and King. Less than 24
hours left before I leave for Rochester. I will be heading up there later
tonight with my parents. My flight leaves at 5:30 AM. Pray that
everything will go smoothly at customs and security. My first stop is
Philadelphia for a short layover before heading for LA. When I get to LAX
I plan to send an email for they have wireless internet there. It will be
sent to you from my friend here in the States. I most likely will not be
able to send any email until later in June, but keep me in prayer if you
could. There are many unknows for me and for the team, but God is bigger
than all of them. The flight from LA leaves at 9:30 PM (PST) about 12:30
AM (EST). Remember to look at the blog. When I do have access to email I
might be posting things on that as well. Remember the email links. You
can send email to me in PNG or write to me via snail mail. It is about
$0.80 for a letter to get to PNG and it takes around 2-3 weeks. Thank you
so much for the support that everyone has given both in terms of money and
prayers. Both are very important. Thank you and God bless.

I look forward to sharing from you in LA later tomorrow night.

In Christ's love,

Corey J. Adams
