The Joy of Baptism

Yesterday was one of those wonderful events in the Christian life to see someone get Baptized! The joy of seeing someone make a public profession of faith and then be dunked under the water. I am looking forward to many more days in PNG when nationals acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and are submerged in a river. To see the smiling face of one that has died to sin and then to be raised in Christ anew. Oh, what a JOY that will be! How wonderful it was yesterday, and how wonderful it will be to see others be baptized in the days ahead.
