April 2005 Prayer Letter
“No one has the right to hear the gospel twice, while there remains someone who has not heard it once.” ~ Oswald J. Smith
Greetings in the matchless name of Jesus Christ who alone is worthy to receive glory and honor forever and ever Amen.
March has been a busy month for me as I continue to get ready for the trip in June. I want to thank my Lord for providing ¼ of the funds for the trip. I have a little over one thousand dollars for the trip. I need around two thousand by April 15. I know the LORD will provide and He will provide for the remaining part of the trip. To get to LA I need $361 for the round trip plane ticket, this is not covered in the four thousand that I need to go to PNG. Please be in prayer for this need as well. The funds for a plane ticket need to come to me and not to Wycliffe if you would like to contribute to that. You can mail funds to me or use the PayPal click here) on my website if you would like them to be used for the flight to LA. Let me move on now to some really exciting news about the trip that I just found out last night.
Last night I received on email from one of our team leader (Ruth Snyder, be praying for this couple if you think about it, for health and their walk with Christ as well) and she reported some great news. Our team might and I stress might be able to be at the dedication of the Aruamu New Testament! This New Testament has just been finished and we might very well be able to go to the dedication of this on July 2. Oh, I was jumping up and down at the thought to witness something like this! Be praying for this tribe and the translators as they are putting the finishing touches on it before having it published.
Our team is coming together wonderfully and I am looking forward to meeting each one of them. God is going to do some great things this summer. Be praying that we see what God wants us to see. Have a great day. God Bless.
In Christ’s love,

That would be just too cool to be at the dedication of a brand new translation!
Wonder if it is as inspired as the KJV??
Yes, I am just joking... but still, you have to wonder.
