The Papua New Guinean Discovery

Between June 2, 2005 and August 7, 2005 I went to Papua New Guinea with Wycliffe Bible Translators. It was a time when God confirmed that He wants me there for His work. At the time I am a student at Davis College in New York State studying and preparing to go back to PNG full time.

The first week of camp

The first week of camp at Cortland Bible Club Camp went very well. It was a small week with only 5 guys and 10 girls. 2 of those girls received Christ as their Lord and Savior. It rained a couple of days, but overall the week went very well. I was the Missionary Speaker for Vespers. The kids seemed to enjoy it.
Hey, Campers if you visit this blog for more about trip check out the archives for June-October 2005 for the majority about it. Tell me what you thought about the Vespers time too in the comment box. David Ringer's blog is a link on the side bar. Check out the other links. If you want to order In Search of the Source you can from Wycliffe.org as well as Amazon.com and you can buy Do You Know What You are doing Lord also at Amazon.com.

I will be do the series once again Next week for the 11-14 year olds. It should be fun. Please pray that it goes well. It will be a larger week. Well Tomorrow starts a new week and I am looking forward to continue to grew in Christ. I have been memorizing Romans 8 with Kim, and I have memorized about 8 verses of the 39. Still a ways to go, but it is good to get God's word in my mind and heart. In the words of Mr. Seavey: "Have you read the Bible Lately...It's good stuff. Maybe I'll write more next week. God Bless. Keep me in prayer and send me letter at camp.
