The Papua New Guinean Discovery

Between June 2, 2005 and August 7, 2005 I went to Papua New Guinea with Wycliffe Bible Translators. It was a time when God confirmed that He wants me there for His work. At the time I am a student at Davis College in New York State studying and preparing to go back to PNG full time.

EXTRA!! EXTRA!! READ ALL ABOUT IT!!! GREAT NEWS AND CATCH UP!!

Lots of news to report to you. This news will be in a long prayer letter that I will try to get out by this weekend. First off, this past Thursday (April 21) Mr. Treaster, my roommate Jack, and I went to the Wycliffe Associates Banquet here in Binghamton. It was a good turn out. The speaker talked about how computers have helped Bible Translation in more ways than one. Those who know me know that I enjoy computers. It was my kind of banquet. They talked about computer programs that they use to see the different tones in languages. Great information! WOW!

Next, some great news in that I have only $1100 left to raise! Praise the LORD!! Now that there are less than 40 days that is quite a praise!

Another great prayer request answered was that today we found out as a group going to PNG that our visas have been granted to go to PNG from the embassy!!! PRAISE THE LORD!!! God is so awesome!!!

Keep me in prayer as I finish the race for this semester. Also a request for next semester, since I am trusting God for this trip I am also trusting Him for next semester, because I have no idea where the funds will come from. It is a step of faith, and I appreciate prayers for it. Even with financial aid, loans, and working I will not be able to cover some of the semester. Thank you for your prayers. I have included the address of Wycliffe for the rest of the funds, just in case you do not have it off hand. Thank you for all that everyone is doing. It is greatly appreciated and I know that I can see God’s hand in the midst of everything happen. It is a matter of TRUST in an AWESOME and AMAZING GOD. CREATOR of the UNIVERSE.
